Even now

Even now

She stands waiting for the bus

For that fortunate boy

Who has mingled with her soul

Even now

She wishes to be a part of him

To adore, enlighten and love him

To the nearest of her ardent soul

Even now

She creams her heart with fantasy

To analyse the entangled mystery

Of her bygone existence

Even now

She waits for the bus to stop

For the unending steps she has to take

But the boy was nowhere to be seen

For death had swallowed her craving soul

Into the forsaken land of true delight….
